  1. Lanolin (aka grease from animal fur): Found in shaving creams, lotions, shampoo, make-up remover and lipsticks
  2. Squalene (aka shark liver oil): Found in moisturizer, sun screen, lipstick, eye make-up and bath oils
  3. Ambergris (aka whale vomit): Found in fancy perfume (pictured in this story!)
  4. Diatomaceous Earth (aka Dead Algae): Found in acne treatments, facial cleansers and exfoliators
  5. Guanine (aka fish scales): Found in shampoo and nail polish to give that pearl essence look.
