Attack of the Killer Clowns

A 40-year-old Roberts, Wisconsin, man had to be taken to the hospital after he fired 22 shotgun rounds in his home in an attempt to fend off clowns he believed were trying to harm him.

The man later admitted that he had taken a hallucinogenic drug and believed that — along with the clowns — dogs were trying to get him and that they had killed his mother.

He was not charged with a crime and is being held in a mental facility.
