Going to a guy’s house or apartment for the first time can be an insightful experience. Nerve wracking for him, maybe, but definitely eye opening for you!
Askmen.com suggests a list of things guys should have and display at their pad when they are inviting a potential love interest over for the first time. What do you think?
– Something homemade: A piece of art or furniture that shows your creative side.
– A cool cooking appliance: An espresso machine, Panini press or ice cream maker … something that shows off a side of yourself that says “I like to cook” or “I enjoy unique things.”
– Interesting and funny coffee table books: These can be great conversation starters.
– Wine: You don’t have to have a bunch of super expensive bottles, but it would be great to offer her a glass of wine instead of a beer or soda.
– Photos: Show off places you have been, and close friends and family — but stay away from displaying pictures of exes, even if you are still friends.
– A musical instrument: Don’t display one if you don’t play, but if you do this is a great way to show off outside interests and an artistic side.
